Entered in his first dog show, the 2019 BICA Italian National Specialty, just for fun, Quigley had a great start in conformation earning an Excellent rating and third place in the Field Titled class under Italian breed specialist Mr. Riccardo Laschi. Quigley topped that accomplishment just a few days later when he was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best in Specialty Show at the 2019 BICA Parent Club Specialty under AKC judge Mr. Dick Quaco at just two years old. Quigley completed his Certificate of Merit with 3 Best in Miscellaneous and 5 Best in Open Show awards in only three weekends of competing at AKC sanctioned shows!

Handsome and hard-working, Quigley has earned his NAVHDA Natural Ability (prize 1 - 112) as well as his AKC water test pass, Junior Hunter title, Senior Hunter title, and, as of early summer 2021, Master Hunter title with his primary owner Steve! In September 2020, Quigley and Steve earned their NAVHDA Utility Prize 1 with a perfect score of 204. Quigley also spends his fall and winter chasing upland birds and waterfowl, and he was a wonderful host on South Dakota pheasant roosters for Matt and Kelly in 2019 after which Kelly became an official co-owner!

Quigley was just two single points shy of his CM2 in extremely limited showing when the breed reached full recognition in the summer of 2022. Quigley earned his first point toward his AKC championship at his first show post-recognition and completed his AKC conformation championship in July 2023, just one year later, making history as the first AKC Champion-Master Hunter and first AKC Champion-NAVHDA Utility Prize 1 Bracco Italiano.

Kelly is honored to have played a part in Quigley's story and humbled to be able to co-own this incredible dog!
